Getting to Jetty Park Beach & Pier

From SR 528, follow signs toward the port’s south-side recreation area and Jetty Park. Use the park address rather than a cruise-terminal address.

Make time for the pier

The approximately 1,200-foot fishing pier offers a different perspective on the port and ocean. Cruise ships are a highlight, but their movements vary. Rocket launch visibility also depends on the pad, trajectory and weather; a beach visit does not guarantee a launch view.

Accessibility & arrival tips

The park offers a limited number of beach wheelchairs at no charge, requested at the entrance booth with identification and a checkout form. Check availability with the park. If arriving by rideshare, review the port’s drop-off rules: without an entry pass, the drop-off is outside and the walk to the boardwalk is about half a mile.

Before you head onto the sand

Use designated dune crossovers, bring water and sun protection, and check posted conditions. Park access and facility availability may change. Swim near a staffed lifeguard tower and follow flag warnings.
