Best Western Cocoa Beach Hotel & Suites donated a three-day, two-night weekend stay valued at $300 to support the Third Annual Friends of the Poor Race/Walk, scheduled for September 26, 2026. The contribution benefited St. Vincent de Paul at Our Saviour’s Catholic Church and its work helping neighbors in Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral.
Helping Neighbors Meet Everyday Needs
St. Vincent de Paul at Our Saviour’s Catholic Church provides food and critical financial assistance for rent and utilities to people in need in our beachside communities. Support for the organization helps it continue that practical, local mission.
In an August 20 thank-you letter, the organization recognized Best Western’s donation and expressed appreciation for the hotel’s kindness and commitment to its ministry. The letter highlighted the connection between contributions like this one and the organization’s ability to keep helping neighbors.
Hospitality That Reaches Beyond a Hotel Stay
A weekend getaway can be more than a chance to relax. When a local hotel contributes a stay to a community fundraiser, it puts its hospitality behind the people and organizations working close to home.
Best Western’s contribution is a welcome example of that spirit in Cocoa Beach. It brings attention to the everyday needs of residents and to the work of St. Vincent de Paul at Our Saviour’s Catholic Church in addressing them.
At Legendary Cocoa Beach, we’re glad to share the ways local businesses give back. Thank you to Best Western Cocoa Beach Hotel & Suites for supporting this effort and to the people helping neighbors throughout Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral.
