Every May, Cocoa Beach hosts one of the most exciting offshore powerboat racing events in the country. Thunder on Cocoa Beach brings high-speed boat racing, beach parties, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities to Florida’s Space Coast.
What to Expect
Offshore Powerboat Racing
Watch world-class superboats and jet skis race at top speeds in open water just offshore. The event draws top racers from across the globe competing in multiple classes, including high-speed Class 1 boats.
Beach Parties & Live Events
Community street parties, live music, and social gatherings take place throughout the weekend. Past schedules have included evening street parties downtown and fun activations for visitors of all ages.
VIP Experience
VIP tickets include reserved seating, hospitality areas, shaded spots with refreshments, and exclusive viewing of the race action along the beach. Tickets are available now through the official event site.
