Collaborating with Keep Brevard Beautiful

The Cocoa Beach Hotel Association’s work with Keep Brevard Beautiful showcases a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and community support. This collaboration emphasizes the importance of sustainability, cleanliness, and giving back in ways that directly impact local residents.

Through the leadership of Tony Stagni and the active involvement of Hampton Inn & Suites Cape Canaveral Cruise Port and Home2 Suites by Hilton Cape Canaveral Cruise Port, several initiatives have been carried out across the county:

  • July–November: Donated unusable linens from Hampton/Home2 to the Humane Society of Brevard on Cox Road in Cocoa.
  • March: Partnered with Keep Brevard Beautiful and the Cocoa Beach Chamber in a beach cleanup at the Cocoa Beach Hilton.
  • August: Supplied travel-size toiletries for the new showers at Matthew’s Hope in Cocoa.
  • October: Organized a beach cleanup at Cherie Down Park, supported by a $1,000 Hilton Grant through Keep Brevard Beautiful.
  • October: Helped set up a pumpkin patch at Romelia Farms Wildlife Preserve with the Cocoa Beach Chamber.
  • November: Backed The Children’s Hunger Project with a $1,000 Hilton Grant and collected weekend food for Brevard School District students.
  • December: Partnered with Matthew’s Hope and the Cocoa Beach Chamber to collect food, clothing, and hygiene supplies for those experiencing homelessness in Brevard.

These efforts highlight how collaboration between local hotels, community organizations, and dedicated volunteers can create meaningful change. By addressing both environmental and social needs, the association continues to strengthen its role as a partner in building a better Brevard.
